11 Titanic Spinning Top Scene
In “Titanic” (1997), there is a scene depicting a boy playing with a spinning top on deck. This is actually a recreation of a real photo taken onboard the ship on April 11th, 1912, by Francis Browne. It shows 1st Class passenger Frederic Spedden and his 6-year-old son Douglas, both of whom survived the sinking.
12 Real Michael Burry Cameo
In “The Big Short” (2015), there’s a shot of a man standing near the front door talking on the phone. It’s the real Michael Burry (portrayed by Christian Bale in the film), the investor who predicted the 2008 housing market crash.

In “The Lego Movie 2: The Second Part” (2019), you can spot Velma from Scooby-Doo in the crowd. When asked why the other members of the gang weren’t included, the director explained, “In a post-apocalyptic world, Velma would have been the only one to have survived. In “Don’t Look Up” (2021), just as Kate is telling her boyfriend that “a comet bigger than the one that destroyed the dinosaurs is headed directly at Earth,” right at that moment, a guy wearing a dinosaur outfit can be seen in the background.

Anthony Daniels, the actor who portrayed C-3PO, makes a cameo appearance in the club scene of “Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones” (2002).
