The “Buckskin Girl” was murdered in 1981. Unable to be identified, she was named after her coat. In 2017, an unrefrigerated lab vial of her blood was successfully DNA analyzed and she was identified as Marcia King. Her mother was located still living in the same house, refusing to move or change phone numbers hoping for her return.
2. Madame Popova was an 19th century woman who operated a murder-for-hire service in Russia that specialized in liberating married women from their cruel husbands for a fee. She murdered over 300 victims, by using poison, her own hands, a weapon, or hiring an assassin.
3. On the 1st of March in 2000, Katherine Knight murdered her husband John Charles Thomas Price, then disemboweled and carved up his body. 6Alam Khan's Revenge
A 12-year-old boy named Alam Khan saw his own father being murdered by a family friend. He wanted to avenge his father’s death and planned for 12 years before killing the alleged murderer in a revenge attack. He cut him into 12 pieces, one each for the years he had to wait.
7. In 1993, a 2-year-old boy named James Bulger was taken away from his mother and murdered by two 10-year-old boys. The boys threw paint in his face, threw bricks, and dropped a 10kg rod on his head. In order to cover their tracks, they left James on rail tracks to make it look like a train accident.

11Lynching of Emmett Till
A 14-year-old boy named Emmett Till was lynched in Mississippi in 1955 after flirting with a white woman. His killers were acquitted of the crime and later admitted to the murder. Till's mother had an open-casket funeral to display the injustice, helping spur the civil rights movement.

‘The Boy in the Box’ is a still unsolved murder of a toddler whose naked, battered body was found in a cardboard box in a wooded area of Philadelphia in 1957.
17. In 1922, Union workers in Southern Illinois made 19 replacement miners crawl to their own graves before beating, shooting, urinating on, and slitting their throats while a mob of 1,000 cheered.

A German nurse named Niels Högel was sentenced to life in prison without eligibility for parole after he murdered more than 85 patients because he wanted to show off his resuscitation skills and be the hero who saves them on the hospital bed.

25. A soldier named LaVena Johnson in Iraq was found dead in her tent in 2005. Her autopsy report and photographs revealed a broken nose, black eye, loose teeth, burns from a corrosive chemical on her genitals, and a gunshot wound to the head. Her death was ruled a suicide.
