11Deaf babies
Deaf babies engage in "fingerbabble" that mimics the verbal babbling of their hearing peers. When raised around signing parents, they start forming repetitive, rudimentary sign shapes with their hands that resemble monosyllabic verbal babbles.
12Infants
Infants are grouchy around 6-9 months because their hormones spike to pubertal levels. This period is referred to as “mini puberty.” Hormones then drop back to normal until the age pre-teens go through ‘real’ puberty.
13Baby Jessica
“Baby Jessica” who fell down a well and was trapped for 58 hours in 1987 found out about her own ordeal and rescue after watching an episode of Rescue 911 at the age of 5.
14Michelle Funk
In 1988, a 2.5-year-old girl named Michelle Funk fell into a creek and was submerged for 66 minutes. When rescuers arrived she didn’t have a pulse and was not breathing. More than 3 hours after when her blood was warmed and it reached 77°F, she came back to life. She is still alive to this day.
15Infant falling
In 2010, in Paris, an 18-month-old infant fell from a 6th story window, bounced off the awning of a cafe below, and was then caught, unharmed, by a doctor who happened to be walking by.

RE: Fact #7 (Human babies) – also enables us to gain more cognitive abilities because the brain is not limited to growth inside the womb. Cranial sutures don’t fully fuse until later in adolescence. So whether by design or happy accident walking upright allowed us to also become a smarter species.
