Jane Stanford, the founder of Stanford University, was murdered by strychnine poisoning. The president of the university at the time, David Starr Jordan, was suspected of covering up the murder. The killer was never found.

31Eliza Samudio’s Murder
Bruno Fernandes das Dores de Souza is a Brazilian footballer who was convicted of the murder of his mistress Eliza Samudio in 2013. Samudio’s body was cut up and some parts were fed to dogs. Bruno has since been released and continues to play and receive offers from teams.
32. In 1993, a 2-year-old boy named James Bulger was taken away from his mother and murdered by two 10-year-old boys. The boys threw paint in his face, threw bricks, and dropped a 10kg rod on his head. In order to cover their tracks, they left James on rail tracks to make it look like a train accident.
