261997 Ghana riot
In January 1997, the capital of Ghana rioted over accusations of penis snatching wizards. Several people were killed by mobs who accused them of using magic handshakes to kidnap penises and hold them for ransom.
27. On August 24, 1919, Ray Caldwell who was pitching for the Cleveland Indians was struck by lightning after playing for 8-2/3 innings. He then got up from the ground, checked himself, finished pitching to get the last out and his team won 2-1 over the Athletics.

In April 2008, Prince covered "Creep" at Coachella. This version was captured on a video and uploaded to Youtube. However, it was quickly taken down at Prince's request. After finding out about the blocking, Thom Yorke was quoted as saying: "Well, tell him to unblock it. It's our song."

On October 13, 2016, a man high on LSD, Michael Orchard from Halfmoon, New York, drove through his neighbors’ fence, broke their glass door and stole their dog, hallucinating that the neighbors' house was burning and he was saving the canine. He then peacefully handed the dog to police officers.
35. In January 13, 1958, Klansmen burned a cross on the lawn of a Lumbee American Indian woman in the town of St. Pauls, North Carolina as a warning “because she was dating a white man.” At their next rally, a group of 500 armed Lumbee encircled the klansmen and opened fire.
