Kerr's Law Article Cites Itself

In 2012, law professor Orin S. Kerr published "A Theory of Law," a satirical, one-page article for legal scholars whose editors demand citations for every claim. Kerr noted that some statements are too obvious or obscure to have existing references, while others are simply invented or false. The article declares that any claim citing it must be correct, then cites itself as further support, giving writers a ready-made citation for almost anything.
