Bourne Wood Hosted Five Productions

Bourne Wood near Farnham in Surrey, England, provided the woodland backdrop for Gladiator (2000), the miniseries Band of Brothers (2001), Coldplay's "The Scientist" music video (2002), Children of Men (2006), and Thor: The Dark World (2013). The opening battle in Gladiator helped establish the forest as a popular filming location, while Thor: The Dark World used it for the battle on Vanaheim.
