Doctor Who’s Lost Christmas Episode

Doctor Who’s first ever Christmas episode, “The Feast of Steven,” is one of the few missing episodes considered almost certainly lost for good. The episode aired on December 25, 1965, as episode seven of the 12-part serial The Daleks’ Master Plan. Unlike many missing Doctor Who episodes that survived through copies sold overseas, “The Feast of Steven” was apparently never recorded for foreign sale. After the BBC junked the original tape, no known copy remained, leaving only its audio and production records behind.
