Beatles Welcomed Ringo With Flowers

In 1968, Ringo Starr temporarily left the Beatles because he felt sidelined within the band. His fellow Beatles sent him a telegram telling him he was the best drummer in the world and that they loved him. Starr returned to the group and found his drum kit covered in flowers.
