Narathu’s Filthy Murder Sparked Revenge

In 1167, medieval Burmese king Narathu reportedly killed one of his queens after she avoided him because he refused to wash with water after using the toilet. He killed her with his bare hands. Her father, the king of Pateikkaya, then sent eight assassins to avenge her, and they killed Narathu in 1171.
