The U.S. edition of "Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix" is the longest book in the series at 870 pages. To keep the already huge volume from getting even bigger, it was printed in 11.5-point Adobe Garamond font instead of the 12-point size used in the other U.S. Harry Potter books. That tiny font change helped squeeze the story into fewer pages while still leaving it as the thickest Harry Potter novel.
