Andrew Wilson’s Ancient Greek Potter

In 2004, Classics scholar Andrew Wilson translated J.K. Rowling’s "Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone" into Ancient Greek for Bloomsbury. The translation, titled "Ἅρειος Ποτὴρ καὶ ἡ τοῦ φιλοσόφου λίθος," gave students of the dead language a modern story to decipher instead of only ancient texts.
