International Chess Master Jeremy Silman created the chess puzzle for "Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone," including the scene where Ron sacrifices himself. The sequence became one of the film’s most memorable strategy moments, but Silman said he did not receive credit for his role. He later joked that "everyone from the hairdressers to the donut delivery boy" got credited while his chess work did not.
