In November 2000, Canadian comedian Norm Macdonald reached the million-dollar question on a celebrity edition of "Who Wants to Be a Millionaire." He thought he knew the answer, but host Regis Philbin pushed him to be careful, and Macdonald chose not to risk the charity money. He walked away with $500,000, then learned his answer would have been right.
