Kate Winslet’s Scene Waited Legally

During production of the 2008 film "The Reader," the filmmakers delayed the sex scenes between German actor David Kross and British actress Kate Winslet until Kross turned 18. Kross was 17 when filming began, so the production scheduled those scenes for after his birthday. The decision let the film include the scenes without shooting them while Kross was still legally a minor.
