Oprah Winfrey Found Loyal Sister

In 2011, American talk show host Oprah Winfrey revealed that she had a half-sister named Patricia, whom she had not known existed for most of her life. Winfrey's mother, Vernita Lee, placed Patricia for adoption in 1963, and she later spent years attempting to reach her biological family. Winfrey said Patricia never tried to sell the story or take it to the press.
