Batgirl's $90M Movie Write-Off

In 2022, Warner Bros. Discovery shelved the DC superhero film "Batgirl" after production wrapped and the movie entered post-production, even though reports put its budget at about $90 million. Instead of finishing and releasing it, the studio chose to write it off, and Guinness later listed "Batgirl" as the most expensive abandoned film in Hollywood history.
