Clarkson Refused Dr. Luke Credit

In 2009, American singer Kelly Clarkson scored a number-one hit with "My Life Would Suck Without You," but she refused a co-writing credit on the song. Clarkson later said she made that choice because she did not want her name linked to producer and primary writer Dr. Luke. By declining the credit, she gave up what she described as hundreds of thousands of dollars in royalties.
