Rahma Haruna was a Nigerian girl born around 1996 or 1997 whose body stopped developing when she was about six months old. Her arms and legs failed to grow properly after an unexplained illness, leaving her unable to walk or crawl and forcing her family to carry her in a plastic bucket because she could not sit or move normally. Doctors never identified the exact condition despite years of treatment attempts by her family. Haruna died in 2016 at the age of 19.
