Carrie Fisher Star Wars Costume Tape

Actress Carrie Fisher had to use gaffer’s tape to hold down her breasts while filming the original Star Wars trilogy. Director George Lucas reportedly did not want her to appear “too aggressively feminine” in the costume. Fisher later quipped that “no breasts bounce in space” and that there was “no jiggling in the Empire.”
