Judi Dench Confused Riddick Role

Dame Judi Dench appeared in The Chronicles of Riddick (2004) after actor Vin Diesel specifically asked the filmmakers to cast her. The writers created a new role for her, Aereon, an Elemental alien ambassador, to fit her into the story. Dench later said she found filming the movie tremendous fun. However, she also admitted she had absolutely no idea what was going on in the plot while making it.
