Grace Kelly Four-Year Hollywood Reign

Grace Kelly Four-Year Hollywood Reign

Actress Grace Kelly dominated Hollywood for just four years, from 1952 to 1956, during the height of the Golden Age of cinema. During that short span, she starred in four classic films directed by Alfred Hitchcock, including Rear Window, Dial M for Murder, and To Catch a Thief. In 1956, she retired from acting at age 26 after marrying Rainier III, Prince of Monaco, and becoming Princess of Monaco. Hitchcock repeatedly tried to lure her back to Hollywood, but Kelly never appeared in another film.
