Kathleen Turner Jessica Rabbit Voice

In the 1988 film Who Framed Roger Rabbit, actress Kathleen Turner provided the sultry speaking voice for the character Jessica Rabbit. Actress Amy Irving performed the character’s singing voice in the scene featuring the song “Why Don’t You Do Right?" Despite their key contributions, Turner’s speaking role went uncredited in the film, while Irving only appeared in the music credits. The character’s voice, therefore, came from two actresses whose work many viewers heard but never saw listed in the main credits.
