Robert Pickton Pig Farm Murders

Robert Pickton Pig Farm Murders

Canadian serial killer Robert Pickton, known as the “Pig Farmer Killer,” confessed to murdering 49 women between 1983 and 2002 at his pig farm in Port Coquitlam in British Columbia. Police discovered evidence that he had dismembered victims and disposed of remains on the farm, and investigators later raised concerns that some remains may have been processed with pork. During interrogation, Pickton told undercover officers he was “disappointed” he had not reached 50 victims before his arrest. He was found guilty on six counts of second-degree murder in 2007 and given a life sentence without the possibility of release for 25 years.
