Lonnie Franklin Grim Sleeper Break

Serial killer Lonnie David Franklin Jr., nicknamed the “Grim Sleeper,” murdered at least 10 women and a teenage girl in Los Angeles between 1985 and 2007, mostly targeting women in Los Angeles. He shot his victims with a .25-caliber handgun, and investigators noticed the murders appeared to stop for 14 years between 1988 and 2002, which led to the nickname.
