Truck Drivers Serial Killer Pattern

Serial killers are most likely to be truckers. For years, investigators found that because long-haul truck drivers regularly cross state lines and spend long stretches on the road, they could commit crimes in multiple jurisdictions without attracting suspicion. By the late 2000s, the FBI had identified over 400 suspects believed to be truck drivers potentially linked to serial killings. In 2009, the bureau launched the Highway Serial Killings Initiative to help law enforcement agencies share data and track murders connected to trucking routes across the United States.
