American serial killer Clifton Bloomfield appeared as a background extra in several film and television productions in New Mexico, including episodes of Breaking Bad. Bloomfield had a violent reputation dating back to high school, and he later received a 14-year prison sentence for robbery and other crimes. After his release in 2002, he began a brutal crime spree that left five people dead in Albuquerque. During this period, Bloomfield continued taking small background roles on local film sets while secretly committing murders. Authorities eventually arrested him in 2008.
