Jack the Ripper FBI Profile

In 1988, the FBI National Center for the Analysis of Violent Crime (NCAVC) created a psychological profile of Jack the Ripper to mark the 100th anniversary of the Whitechapel murders in London. The unidentified serial killer had murdered at least five women in the Whitechapel district in 1888. They concluded the serial killer was most likely a male between 28 and 36 years old. The analysis also suggested he may have worked as a butcher, mortician, or medical orderly, professions consistent with the anatomical knowledge shown in the murders.
