Curtis Priem’s Lost $70 Billion

Curtis Priem, who co-founded Nvidia in 1993 and served as its chief technology officer, retired from the company in 2003 and sold off all of his Nvidia shares by 2006. In the years that followed, Nvidia’s stock price soared, and estimates suggest that if Priem had held onto those shares, they would be worth more than 70 billion dollars today (February 2026).
