Hugalo's Pizza Connects Ferrell Roles

In Step Brothers (2008), during the scene where Brennan blurts out, "Did we just become best friends?" a background sign quietly advertises Hugalo's Pizza. That fake restaurant is the same place where Ricky Bobby delivers pizzas after his crash and breakdown in Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby (2006). The reused Hugalo's sign turns the moment into a hidden in-joke, linking two of Will Ferrell's most famous man-child characters across different movies.
