Egypt Bans Marilyn Monroe Films

Egypt banned all of Marilyn Monroe's films after she converted to Judaism in 1956 in order to marry playwright Arthur Miller. After Monroe and Miller split and their marriage ended in divorce, Egypt lifted the restriction and allowed her films to return to circulation.
