Anthony Olson Nine Years Unneeded Chemotherapy

From 2011 to 2020, a man named Anthony Olson endured nine years of chemotherapy for a cancer that he eventually learned he never had. Doctors told him that without treatment he would be dead by the end of the year, so he followed the aggressive regimen. When a second biopsy came back negative, they told him to ignore the result because it supposedly meant the treatment was working. After years of side effects and fear, he finally discovered that the disease he had been fighting all that time was never actually present.
