Dave Teich Disobeys Orders Rescue

During the Korean War, U.S. officer Dave Teich learned that about 65 American soldiers were under attack by an estimated 300,000 Chinese troops. Despite being ordered not to go, he took command of four tanks and drove them toward the embattled position. Teich used the small armored column to fight his way to the trapped men and load them onto the tanks under fire. He then led the group back through the chaos, rescuing all 65 soldiers from a position that had been considered lost.
