Chinese POW Olympics Korean Camps

In 1952, during the Korean War, the Chinese army organized an Olympics-style sports meet for prisoners of war held in North Korean camps. About 500 POWs from 11 different countries took part, competing in events while still officially captives of the Chinese and North Korean forces. The organizers also had prisoners work as photographers, announcers, and reporters, so the POWs ran much of the event themselves.
