Vinegar Honey Spiderweb Wound Care

In ancient Greece, battlefield medics treated fresh wounds with simple supplies on hand. They rinsed injuries with vinegar, spread honey over the cut, and then packed spider webs on top to hold the honey in place. This makeshift dressing let soldiers keep moving with a cleaned and covered wound.
