Celia Blay's Online Murder Investigation

Between 2006 and 2010, 65-year-old English woman Celia Blay noticed a man posing online as a female nurse who urged vulnerable people to kill themselves. She traced the messages across forums, linked multiple deaths, and gathered posts, emails, and usernames to show the accounts came from one American man named Melchert-Dinkel. Blay turned her dossier over to authorities, who identified and arrested him. He was released in 2015.
