End of an Era: Trailer Voiceovers

Don LaFontaine, the iconic trailer narrator known for thousands of voiceovers, died in 2008. In the years that followed, studios increasingly leaned on music and sound design rather than narration. As a result, classic trailer voiceovers became less common.
