Twins Invent Private Language

Cryptophasia is a rare phenomenon in which twins develop a private language that only they can understand. This language often emerges during early childhood as the siblings communicate with each other while learning speech. Researchers believe it occurs in about 50% of identical twin pairs, though most cryptophasic languages fade as the twins grow older.
