Powerpuff Girls DVD Virus Recall 2001

In 2001, Warner Bros. released the "Powerpuff Girls: Meet the Beat Alls" DVD-which included three DVD-ROM computer programs-to promote the popular animated series, but unbeknownst to them, the master disc was infected with the FunLove virus, which automatically launched upon insertion and could spread across computers. The company immediately recalled all copies distributed in North America, though the extent of infections wasn't publicly quantified, and Warner Bros. said the discs were destroyed to halt further spread.
