Metallica's Historic Antarctic Performance

In 2013, Metallica became the first band to perform on all seven continents by playing a live, unamplified concert in Antarctica at Carlini Base. The event, dubbed "Freeze 'Em All," was attended by 120 people, including Latin American contest winners and international scientists, and was held to celebrate the band's global reach and to create a unique experience for their fans.
