Hiker's 24-Day Hibernation Survival

In 2006, Japanese hiker Mitsutaka Uchikoshi survived 24 days in a mountain forest after slipping and breaking his pelvis, enduring sub-zero conditions without food or water in what doctors called a human "hibernation."
