Fugu (Pufferfish Dish)

A delicacy in Japan and Korea, fugu contains deadly tetrodotoxin in its organs. Improper preparation can be fatal. Only chefs who undergo at least three years of training are allowed to prepare it legally. Notably, actor Band? Mitsugor? VIII claimed immunity to the toxin and ate four servings of pufferfish liver, dying eight hours later. Despite the risk, it remains a popular dish.
