Kim Philby's Double Agent Defection

Kim Philby, head of MI6's anti-communist section, resigned amid allegations that he assisted two KGB moles in escaping. Nevertheless, the government later exonerated him, and subsequently, he defected to the Soviet Union after serving as a KGB double agent for 30 years.
