Rey's 439-Mile Freedom Bicycle Escape

Curious George, along with its authors Margaret and H.A. Rey, escaped the Nazis and the Holocaust by fleeing France on bicycles. Remarkably, they biked 439 miles from Paris to the Spanish border with nothing but their unpublished manuscript about a mischievous monkey.
