Horse Defecated After McDonald's Refusal

In 2013, a woman rode her horse into the drive-through lane of a McDonald's in Whitefield, Greater Manchester, but employees refused to serve her under company policy. Determined to place her order, she led the animal inside, where it defecated on the restaurant floor. Police said the sight and smell upset customers and staff, and officers issued the woman a fixed penalty notice for causing alarm and distress.
