Jodie Foster Records French Dubs

American actress Jodie Foster speaks French fluently enough to dub herself in French-language versions of most of her English-language films. She learned the language while attending the Lycée Français de Los Angeles, a French-language preparatory school, and delivered the valedictorian address for its French division when she graduated in 1980. Her fluency has also allowed her to perform in French films.
