Jenna Miscavige Hill Learned Xenu

On February 8, 2013, former Scientologist Jenna Miscavige Hill, the niece of Scientology chairman David Miscavige, said she first learned the story of Xenu by watching South Park's 2005 episode "Trapped in the Closet." The episode presented the secret Scientology narrative while displaying the caption "This is what Scientologists actually believe." Despite growing up within Scientology, Hill learned the story from the cartoon because the church normally reserved it for members who reached advanced levels after making substantial payments.
