Parker's Plane Ticket Challenged Censorship

After Comedy Central censored the 2010 South Park episode "201" against the creators' wishes, co-creator Trey Parker bought a plane ticket to South Africa and showed it to the network's head. Parker used the ticket to threaten that he would "pull a Dave Chappelle" (referring to American comedian Dave Chappelle leaving his Comedy Central series and traveling to South Africa). South Park writer and producer Vernon Chatman later revealed the stunt and said Parker never actually went.
