Madonna helped reshape a sequence in Deadpool & Wolverine after actor Ryan Reynolds and director Shawn Levy met her personally to secure permission to use her 1989 hit "Like a Prayer." After they showed her how the song would accompany the scene, she offered one specific note, although the filmmakers never revealed what it was. They entered a new recording session within 48 hours to implement her suggestion, and Levy said it improved the sequence.
