Dwayne Johnson Was Wonka Backup

Dwayne Johnson was Tim Burton's second choice to play Willy Wonka in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (2005). Johnny Depp remained Burton's first choice, but Johnson could have received the role if Depp had been unavailable.
